Welcome to Global Studies in Education Online at UIUC

Global Studies in Education (GSE) Online is a web-based Master's degree in Educational Policy Studies at the University of Illinois. The program is designed for educators at all levels interested in learning and thinking more critically about issues of globalization and education and in incorporating international perspectives into their curriculum and pedagogy. In addition, prospective students in other related fields are encouraged to join our program and provide fresh perspectives on these important educational topics.

We welcome in particular applicants from outside the United States. This is intended to facilitate dialogue among American educators and those living and working in other parts of the world.
